James joined Redwheel’s Convertible Bonds team in 2025 as a Junior Analyst. He developed an interest in the asset class due to its blend of downside protection as well as upside participation for investors. Prior to joining the firm, he gained experience across investment banking and corporate strategy.
He holds an MPhil in Finance and Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, and is currently working towards the CFA charter. Outside of work, he is a keen hockey and chess player, and ranks ‘Thinking, Fast and Slow’ among his favourite reads.
