Here for the future
In January 2022, we announced that we would operate under the brand Redwheel from RWC Partners.
The red wheel is part of our history, part of who we are. The original red wheel still sits in our old office building in Petty France, where it had been used as part of the mechanism of a large winch that moved military horses in and out of their stables. It is a powerful symbol that reflects who we are as an organisation and what we stand for.

Peter Clarke
Non-Executive Chairman
Peter joined Redwheel’s board in 2016 and serves as Non-Executive Chairman. Peter also acts as Chairman of Lancashire Insurance, Non Executive Director of Lombard Odier Asset Management and Deputy Chair of Sainsbury’s Bank. Prior to his work as Chair across a range of organisations, between 1993 and 2013 Peter held a number of senior executive roles within Man Group, including CEO and CFO.
In his spare time, Peter enjoys travelling and reading, his favourite book being Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Additionally, he has a passion for running, having run the New York marathon twice, and in under three hours both times.
His advice to future generations at Redwheel would be to understand what investors need, as well as what they want.
Tord Stallvik
Chief Executive Officer
Tord was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Redwheel in August 2021, having served as its Head of Business Development since 2015. His mission at Redwheel is to grow the business in a sustainable way considering the interest of all stakeholders.
Prior to joining Redwheel, Tord was a Senior Managing Director at Everest Capital. He also served as President of Protégé Partners, a leading alternative asset seeding firm, and has held various roles in asset management and corporate finance.
Outside of Redwheel he is a Consultant for the Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Tord likes walking in the mountains of his native Norway, preferably where there is no mobile signal.
Cressida Williams
Chief Financial Officer
Cressida has been working as Redwheel’s CFO since 2016. Cressida’s mission is to build a business that draws everyone in; both clients wanting to invest, and people wanting to work here.
Prior to joining Redwheel, she worked for PwC in various roles, including as COO of Insurance and Asset Management, since 1998.
Cressida works flexibly, finding it important to spend an afternoon each week watching her sons’ sports matches. Outside of Redwheel, Cressida enjoys participating in team sports, kickboxing and skiing.
John Innes
Director
After a successful career at several well-regarded investment companies, John decided to establish his own independent fund in a start-up company that has now become Redwheel. He has played his part in the growth of the company from a fledgling start with $9 million in AUM and a team of four to its current size. After retiring from the management of investment funds in 2019, John’s roles are primarily governance oversight and support for the Management and Portfolio Management teams at Redwheel.
John’s outside interests include being a Director of the Titsey Estate Company, Trustee of the Chevening Estate and being on the Governing Council of the John Innes Centre in Norwich. His advice to future generations is to maintain a positive attitude — whichever path you may decide to lead.
Nicky Richards
Non-Executive Director
Nicky joined the Board of Redwheel in 2014 and serves as a Non-Executive Director.
Nicky spent her Executive career in asset management working for Schroders, Fidelity International and MLC and was most recently Head of Equities at Schroders. She has extensive Global experience having worked in Singapore, New York, Sydney, Hong Kong and London.
Outside of work, Nicky enjoys coaching and mentoring talented individuals and relaxing whilst swimming, paddle boarding and walking.
Huan Ke
General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
Huan joined Redwheel in 2019 as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. His goal at Redwheel is to utilise his knowledge of legal and compliance to help navigate the ever-changing regulatory environment impacting asset management.
Previously Huan worked at Macquarie where he was Head of Legal (EMEA).
To relax outside of Redwheel, Huan enjoys looking after his two children, lifting heavy weights and dabbling in some creative cooking.
Huan’s advice to future generations would be to care about the work you do.
Jane Nicholls
Head of Business Development
Jane was appointed Head of Business Development at Redwheel in August 2022 to focus on continuing to build the business as well as growing its investor base. She will play a central role in the firm’s overall growth strategy through the development and implementation of growth plans for Redwheel’s investment strategies as well as leading Redwheel’s sales, marketing and client facing operations globally.
Prior to joining Redwheel, she served as the Global Head of ESG Client Strategy at abrdn and was a Managing Director at JPMorgan Asset Management as Head of Client Solutions and Business Development.
Outside of Redwheel Jane has served on several Boards and is kept busy by her three children and dog. She is also currently learning to row on the Thames.
Tony Leness
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Leness is Managing Partner and co-founder of Lincoln Peak Capital, a long-term, supportive equity partner to high-quality asset management firms across diverse asset classes and investment strategies. Mr. Leness has more than 25 years of experience investing in and providing strategic and business support to firms and their leadership teams, and since Lincoln Peak’s inception has successfully partnered with category-leading asset managers that collectively manage more than $100 billion. He has extensive expertise assisting managers with a wide range of essential initiatives, including succession planning, incentive alignment, product development, distribution strategy, capital structure optimization, and strategic opportunities, among others.
Prior to founding Lincoln Peak in 2008, Mr. Leness served on the senior management team and board of directors of a financial technology firm that provided advanced analytical solutions to investment management firms. Previously, Mr. Leness worked in private equity investing at The Beacon Group, LLC and investment banking at Smith Barney, Inc.
Seth Brennan
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Brennan is Managing Partner and co-founder of Lincoln Peak Capital, a long-term, supportive equity partner to high-quality asset management firms across diverse asset classes and investment strategies. Mr. Brennan has three decades of experience investing in and providing strategic and business support to asset managers and their leadership teams, and since Lincoln Peak’s inception has successfully partnered with category-leading firms that collectively manage more than $100 billion. He has extensive expertise assisting managers with a wide range of essential initiatives, including succession planning, incentive alignment, product development, distribution strategy, capital structure optimization, and strategic opportunities, among others.
Prior to founding Lincoln Peak in 2008, Mr. Brennan was Executive Vice President and a member of the founding management team at Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (NYSE: AMG), where he was responsible for overseeing AMG’s acquisition activities, completing over 20 successful acquisitions and investing approximately $2 billion. Previously, Mr. Brennan was in the Global Insurance Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley & Co. and in the Financial Institutions Group at Wasserstein, Perella & Co.

Nigel Hill
Chief Operations Officer
Nigel joined Redwheel in 2018 as Chief Operations Officer.
Prior to Redwheel, Nigel started his career in investments in 1994. He spent eight years with Goldman Sachs and then a further eleven with Credit Suisse where he held a number of roles including: Global Head of Asset Management Operations — running change for the COO of Private Banking and Manager of the Middle Office as well as looking after client data for the private bank in Switzerland.
Outside of Redwheel, Nigel prioritises going for long walks and socialising. His hero and his hypothetical ideal dinner party guest would be Elizabeth I as she was a great survivor and leader. Nigel also enjoys playing hockey as a hobby and indulging in his favourite food – Singaporean Fish Head Curry.
Nigel’s advice to future generations at Redwheel would be to think of your role expansively and would be described by his colleagues as useful.
Arthur Grigoryants, CFA
Head of Investments
Arthur joined Redwheel in 2017 as Head of Investments, and it is his mission to develop Redwheel into a leading, successful, and sustainable active investment management house, through working with high calibre investment teams and new investment capabilities.
Arthur began working in the investment industry as a Senior Analyst for the Central Bank of Turkmenistan and has since worked with Mercer Investment Consulting, and as CIO and Head of Research for Fleming Family and Partners.
In his free time, Arthur enjoys immersing himself in the realms of Art and Design and has a love for great food — and even greater wine. Arthur also enjoyed a short-lived TV career as a host on a game show while at University.
Huan Ke
