Red Wheel Media is seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our dynamic team in Aspen, CO as an Inbound Marketing Account Manager.

Red Wheel is a growing digital marketing agency that offers search marketing, inbound marketing, website design, web development and content marketing services. The Inbound Marketing Account Manager position requires a high level of competence when it comes to social media, blog posting, and email marketing best practices. It also utilizes an extensive knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google Marketing. Finally, it requires you to be trained, certified and competent in Inbound Marketing.

We are looking for an experienced, strong candidate who can consult with clients on how to execute lead conversion campaigns using best practices. You must understand what “compelling” content means, practice journalistic writing and storytelling, and have an eye for creative design and content.

As an Inbound Marketing Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, communications, and operation of various digital projects with clients in the B2B and financial services industries. You will be responsible for working with lead project managers on managing key client accounts and planning, understanding, and articulating the value of the inbound marketing strategy being implemented and services provided.

For this position, you are expected to be a tech-savvy professional with excellent time management and communication skills – both with internal teams and with clients.


Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Journalism
  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in B2B marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write effective emails, marketing collateral and website copy.
  • In-depth understanding of online marketing tools and social media platforms
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • Hubspot experience required, certification a plus
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Desire to learn and work in WordPress and HTML


  • Work with the lead project managers and clients to set their goals and develop a plan to reach them
  • Provide end-to-end project management
  • Develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress
  • Collaborate to design, develop and implement campaigns
  • Communicate the ongoing progress and reporting to clients
  • Manage and plan the ongoing social, content, and online marketing strategy
  • Monitor and analyze marketing and sales performance and refine for improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, potential new channels, and strategies
  • Maintain website platforms through WordPress and HubSpot to manage and measure marketing data and metrics
  • Build, manage, and execute email marketing campaigns in coordination with the marketing team
  • Create landing pages, newsletters templates, emails and downloadable content in HubSpot
  • Research and implement best practices into new and existing campaigns to optimize campaign performance
  • Provide recommendations to improve campaign performance

The Inbound Marketing Sales Representative “expands the agency rolodex” by selling innovative digital marketing products and services to a wide range of small and medium sized businesses. You will be responsible for generating your own book of (B2B) business and for managing both inbound and outbound sales contacts utilizing traditional prospecting techniques along with the inbound marketing software platform HubSpot. You will be successful by providing your prospects with a clear understanding of our unique and progressive digital marketing system. You will appropriately set customer expectations, and employ a consultative approach to all sales opportunities.



  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Present and sell company services to new and existing customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by deadline(s)
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Convert leads that originate from Red Wheel Media’s inbound marketing
  • Create opportunities from networking (online and events), marketing automation campaigns, cold calls, and from your sheer sales intuition, drive and determination
  • Accurately and timely update prospect and opportunity information in HubSpot’s CRM
  • Follow sales processes and procedures effectively and efficiently
  • Willingness to relentlessly pursue opportunities to close
  • Regularly share your successes and your challenges with the rest of the Red Wheel Media team

  • We will review how to run a client strategy session or consultation
  • Continuously improve through feedback



  • Minimum 1-year sales experience using HubSpot
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven track record at generating and winning new business
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs/Apps
  • Knowledge of contemporary digital (online) marketing technology
  • Comfortable presenting as well as handling objections and rejections
  • A competitive mindset and positive attitude with a desire to win
  • A self-starter who can work independently in an ever-changing industry
  • Ability to formulate sales plan for designated assignments
