The Inbound Marketing Sales Representative “expands the agency rolodex” by selling innovative digital marketing products and services to a wide range of small and medium sized businesses. You will be responsible for generating your own book of (B2B) business and for managing both inbound and outbound sales contacts utilizing traditional prospecting techniques along with the inbound marketing software platform HubSpot. You will be successful by providing your prospects with a clear understanding of our unique and progressive digital marketing system. You will appropriately set customer expectations, and employ a consultative approach to all sales opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Present and sell company services to new and existing customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by deadline(s)
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Convert leads that originate from Red Wheel Media’s inbound marketing
  • Create opportunities from networking (online and events), marketing automation campaigns, cold calls, and from your sheer sales intuition, drive and determination
  • Accurately and timely update prospect and opportunity information in HubSpot’s CRM
  • Follow sales processes and procedures effectively and efficiently
  • Willingness to relentlessly pursue opportunities to close
  • Regularly share your successes and your challenges with the rest of the Red Wheel Media team

 

Training and Other:

We will support your career growth with initial and ongoing training of our services and protocols, advanced HubSpot sales tools and an attractive compensation package designed to reward you for your initiative.

  • We will review how to run a client strategy session or consultation
  • Continuously improve through feedback

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year sales experience using HubSpot
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven track record at generating and winning new business
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs/Apps
  • Knowledge of contemporary digital (online) marketing technology
  • Comfortable presenting as well as handling objections and rejections
  • A competitive mindset and positive attitude with a desire to win
  • A self-starter who can work independently in an ever-changing industry
  • Ability to formulate sales plan for designated assignments
